Recently, I discovered an article written by Josh Linkner called The New Theory of Relativity. It really spoke to me in the fact that success is not automatically determined on what we already know, or what “we’ve always done.” Success in the business world is now defined by a new formula:
PROGRESS = SPEED times LEARNING divided by COST (P = SL/C)
As we transition into 2016, I encourage you to seek ways to innovate within our chapter and provide feedback on what changes you’d like to see implemented. In order to progress, we’ve got to prioritize our own learning and keep moving forward to keep up with the rate of change around us. Linkner states, “to enjoy sustainable success, you’ll need to adapt; to evolve; to innovate in real-time.”
