Summer has come to a close and back to school is well underway. My daughter is in second grade this year and is loving every minute of it. She loves school. Learning, lunch with friends, and brain breaks on the playground make for great days and stories to tell on our drive home.
She welcomed the first day back with a warm hug and I think to myself - what a gift to see school in such a way. To be excited to learn and experience new things and make new friends.
Watching her bounce out of the car each morning and zip into school has made me question how I can bring that love and excitement to learning back to those who may have misplaced it along their career path.
Often times we may look at learning as an obligation, a box to be checked off rather than an experience and an opportunity to grow.
As we finish out 2016 and move into the new year, ATD Lincoln is positioning itself to find these opportunities that make learning and development meaningful and engaging for our members.
We are excited to bring fresh approaches to our offerings and we look forward to working with you - the members of ATD Lincoln - in making this Chapter a leader in learning and development.
It’s time to give back-to-school a fresh new look. Are you in?
